Resident Evil, known as Bio Hazard in Japan, is the first in a long line of survival horror games developed and published by Capcom. It was ported to the Sega Saturn by Nextech in 1997, with some members of Sega's team. Nextech would later return to develop Resident Evil CODE:Veronica for Capcom, and consequently were involved in the production of each of its spinoff games and ports.

Model - T-1219G
Region:
Japanese (NTSC-J)
NOTES: Comes with spine card!
GAMERS NOTE: Japanese Saturn games only play on Japanese Saturn consoles, but it is possible to play them on other region consoles such as PAL and USA with the optional Pseudo Saturn boot cartridge. This will unlock the region protection and allow the game to boot. Generally Japanese games will play perfectly on a USA console, but may have some slight issues when forced to play on a PAL console. These issues include a slowing of game speed, slight distortion of image/ sound. Some Japanese games will work totally fine on a PAL console, but its always good to note that these issues may occur. It's always best to play games on their designated region consoles.
