⚠️ Technician’s Note: Most retro cartridges rely on an internal battery to keep your save data alive on a chip. When this battery dies, the save functionality is lost. We supply and install fresh, high-quality tabbed batteries to restore your game’s ability to save.
Please Note: The battery replacement process will erase any existing save data currently on the cartridge. We recommend sending multiple games in a single batch to maximise your shipping value.

Battery Reference Guide
We use specific tabbed batteries designed for precision soldering on motherboard circuits:
- CR2032 (Tabbed): Heavy-duty battery for NES, SNES, N64, Master System, Mega Drive, and 32X.
- CR1616 (Tabbed): Small profile battery used for Game Boy Advance (Pokémon Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby) and specific GBA titles.
- CR2025 (Tabbed): The standard power source for Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

Non-Battery Save Issues
If your cartridge doesn't save but isn't listed as having a battery (common in later GBA or N64 titles), there may be a failure in the FLASH or EEPROM chip. For these instances, please select the "Other non-battery problem" option in the dropdown menu for a full diagnostic.

- Prepare: Click the "Print Address" button on your confirmation screen.
- Ship: Securely package and post your games to our workshop in Melbourne.
- Repair: We professionally swap the batteries and clean all internal contacts.
- Return: Your games are posted back to you, ready for another 15-20 years of saving.
Shipping Policy: Customers are responsible for the initial postage to our workshop. We handle the professional return logistics using the method chosen at checkout.
Authenticity: We only provide services for original hardware. We do not work on "Clone" or "Reproduction" cartridges.
